Collective investment schemes (ex. mutual funds, UITFs, etc.) that track PSE Indices or use PSE Indices as the underlying index for their fund are subject to the Exchange’s Index Licensing Policy, and must execute an Index Licensing Agreement with the PSE. Index Licensees are given the following privileges: i) use of the PSE indices and PSE index trademarks as permitted by the terms of use as stated in the license agreement; ii) complimentary access to PSE’s end-of-day file of the licensed index; and iii) timely announcements related to the licensed index such as change in constituents, change in weights due to corporate action or change in float level. Market participants who wish to receive information on the PSEi, but do not track PSE Indices or use PSE Indices as the underlying index for their fund, may subscribe to the PSE’s Index Bundle. Subscribers of the Index Bundle are able to: i) access the PSEi End-of-Day file through file transfer protocol (FTP); ii) receive e-mail announcements on index recomposition and rebalancing; and iii) receive the quarterly index free float file.
